Terms and Conditions of Accommodation Contract

Article 1. SCOPE OF APPLICATION

1. Contracts for Accommodation and related agreements to be entered into between this Inn and a Guest to be accommodated shall be subject to the terms and conditions stipulated herein. Any particulars not provided for herein shall be governed by laws and regulations and/or generally accepted practices.
2. Notwithstanding and without prejudice to the stipulations of the preceding Paragraph, in a case when the Inn enters into a special contract with a Guest, insofar as such special contract does not violate laws, regulations and generally accepted practices, the special contract shall take precedence over the provisions of these terms and conditions.

Article 2. REFUSAL OF CONFIRMING ACCOMMODATION CONTRACT

1. If any one of the following conditions applies, the Inn may refuse to confirm an accommodation contract:
1. When an application for accommodation does not conform with the provisions of these Terms and Conditions;
2. When the Inn is fully booked and no room is available;
3. When a Guest seeking accommodations is deemed liable to behave in a manner that will contravene the laws or act against the public order or good morals in using the Inn;
4. When a Guest seeking accommodation can be clearly detected as carrying an infectious disease;
5. When the Inn is requested to assume an unreasonable burden to accommodate a Guest;
6. When the Inn is unable to provide accommodations due to natural climatic conditions, dysfunction of its facilities and/or other unavoidable causes;
7. When a person requesting Inn accommodations is obviously intoxicated and could cause annoyance to other guests or when a Guest is behaving in such a manner as to be an unusual annoyance to other guests;
8. When an application for accommodation does not conform with the prefectural regulations.

Article 3. Application for Accommodation Contract

1. The Inn may request the Guest who intends to make an application for an Accommodation Contract (hereinafter called a “Reservation”) with the following particulars:
1. Name(s) of the Guest(s), age, sex, nationality, occupation;
2. Other particulars deemed necessary by the Inn.

Article 4. RIGHT TO CANCEL ACCOMMODATION CONTRACT BY A GUEST

1. In a case when a Guest cancels an Accommodation Contract in whole or in part due to a cause(s) for which the Guest is liable, cancellation charges as listed below shall become payable by the Guest.
No-show 100% payment of stay
On accommodation day  100% payment of stay
1 day before accommodation day 50% payment of stay
2. In a case when a Guest fails to appear b 10 P.M. of the accommodation date without the Guest contacting the Inn, the Inn may regard the Accommodation Contract as being canceled by the Guest and proceed to take the necessary procedures.

Article 5. RIGHT TO CANCEL ACCOMMODATION CONTRACTS BY THE INN

1. The Inn may cancel an Accommodation Contract in any one of the following cases;
1. When any of Paragraph 3. to 8. applies from Article 2;
2. When Paragraph 1. from Article 3. information is requested and not shared by the deadline.

Article 6. REGISTRATION

1. A Guest shall register the following particulars at the Reception of the Inn on the day of accommodation;
1. Information of Article 3. Paragraph 1.;
2. For foreigners, passport number, port and date of entry in Japan;
3. Date and estimated time of departure;
4. Other particulars deemed necessary by the Inn.

Article 7. OCCUPANCY HOURS OF GUEST ROOMS

1. A Guest is entitled to occupy the contracted guest room of the Inn from 4:00 P.M. until 11:00 A.M. of the following day. However, in a case when a Guest is accommodated over a number of consecutive days, the Guest may occupy the room all day long, except on the days of arrival and of departure.

Article 8. BAGGAGE AND/OR BELONGINGS OF THE GUEST

1. The Inn will not be liable for the loss, theft or damage of valuables incurred by the Guest within the Inn except in the case the breakage or damages occurred on purpose by the Inn.

Article 9. PAYMENT OF CHARGES

1. Accommodation Charges, etc. as stated in the preceding Paragraph shall be paid with credit card acceptable to the Inn prior to arrival.
2. Accommodation Charges would not be refunded even in the event of a Guest voluntarily decides not to utilize the accommodation facilities offered by and made available by the Inn for use by the Guest.

Article 10. COMPLIANCE WITH THE TERMS OF USE

1. A Guest of the Inn is required to comply with the “TERMS OF USE” presented by the Inn.

Article 11. REFUSAL TO COMPLETE AN ACCOMMODATION CONTRACT

1. The Inn may refuse a request for accommodation or other services by a prospective Guest for any one of the following reasons:
1. When any of Paragraph 3. to 8. applies from Article 2;
2. When not complying to the “TERMS OF USE”.

Article 12. LIABILITY OF A GUEST

In the event of a Guest causing damages to the Inn on account of intentional or negligence on the part of the Guest, the Guest shall compensate the Inn for such damages incurred by the Inn.

Article 13. RESPONSIBILITY OF ACCOMMODATION

1. Responsibility of the Inn starts when the Guest checks in at the front desk or enters the guest room and ends when the Guest leaves the guest room;
2. The Inn shall, when unable to provide a contracted room to a Guest, with the consent of the Guest, arrange an alternate accommodation with the same or as practicably the same conditions elsewhere for the Guest.

Article 14. OTHER PROVISIONS (Visitors, Smoking)

1. Meeting visitors in the guest room
The Inn declines inviting visitors into your guest room at all times. If the Guest invites a visitor(s) to the guest room, regardless of the time spent in the room, 10,000 JPY shall be paid for each visitor. The visitor shall leave the guest room.
2. Kindly refrain from smoking in areas other than the designated smoking areas within the premises. Please be advised that if a Guest is found to have smoked inside a guest room, 10,000 JPY shall be paid by the Guest.
3. Operating hours of the Inn is as the following;
Front desk 8:00 A.M. ~ 10:00 P.M.
The operating hours and/or services provided are subject to change without any prior notice in an event of unavoidable situation arising. Change of operating hours shall be presented in appropriate way.
